Team of Experts: CARES®

The CARES Program™ (CARES® Dementia Basics™, CARES® Dementia Advanced Care™, and CARES® Dementia Basics & Advanced Care™) was co-developed by HealthCare Interactive, Inc. (HCI) and the national office of the Alzheimer’s Association. They were funded by two separate grants from the National Institute on Aging and have been completed in conjunction with researchers from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.

CARES®, which is based on and consistent with the Alzheimer’s Association Campaign for Quality Residential Care Practice Recommendations, promotes the ideals of the culture change movement and builds a caring culture in your organization.
