MEMORY LOSS, DEMENTIA, AND ALZHEIMER’S
The CARES™ Online Dementia Care Series is a set of educational programs for direct care staff at assisted living facilities, nursing homes, home health agencies, and other professional organizations. It provides practical skills in a self-paced, interactive format that can be accessed anywhere, anytime—so night, weekend, and part-time staff members, as well as new hires, can be trained quickly, consistently, and without scheduling issues. CARES is based on the Alzheimer’s Association Campaign for Quality Residential Care Practice Recommendations, promotes the ideals of the culture change movement, and builds a caring culture in your organization.
HCI’s companion program for families and friends, The Savvy Caregiver™ Series, provides the skills and knowledge they need to keep their loved one living independently as long as possible. It’s also an excellent “value added” resource for you to give to prospective families as they consider their options for future residential care for their loved one. Volume discounts are available.
