Continuing Education

The CARES Program™ is certified for continuing education (CE) credit and is available for:

• Social Workers
  CARES is approved for 10.0 hours of CE from the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program.
  
  
• Nurses
  CARES is approved for 10.0 hours of CE by the Illinois Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
  
  
• Administrators
  This educational offering has been reviewed by the National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) of the National Association of Boards of Examiners of Long Term Care Administrators (NAB) and approved for 10 clock hours. (Note: CARES continuing education through NAB is not currently approved for administrators in Kansas or Missouri unless you are a resident of a different state working in Kansas or Missouri.)
  
  

When you order a CE Voucher, you will receive an access code for the CARES Program and a CE Voucher code to complete your CE quiz and evaluation.

4. Enter your CE Voucher code.
5. Pass an online quiz (with at least 80% correct).
6. Fill out a course evaluation.
7. Print out your continuing education certificate.
