Who's Behind CARES

The CARES Program™ was co-developed by HealthCare Interactive, Inc. (HCI) and the national office of the Alzheimer’s Association. It was funded by two separate grants from the National Institute on Aging and has been completed in conjunction with researchers from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.

CARES is based on and consistent with the Alzheimer’s Association Campaign for Quality Residential Care Practice Recommendations, promotes the ideals of the culture change movement, and builds a caring culture in your organization.
